   Keep.

   Michigan law does not ask for an attendance log on this route. A log of the days you teach is your choice. It can help if your child moves to a school later.

2. 2. Progress records and work samples

   Keep.

   No law asks you to keep these. The state encourages progress records through the year. They help a school place your child later. Keep a list of books used and some work samples. You also write your child's report cards, transcript and diploma.
