Michigan has two homeschool routes. This is for the home education route. The home school law does not mention shots.A separate law tells every parent to get a child's shots. It does not tie that duty to a school. The school shot rule starts when a child first registers in a school. It starts again at seventh grade. The state education office says a home school family on this route does not report to it.
