What the state wants on file, and where each one lives.

1. 1. Withdrawal letter (only if leaving a public school)

   Keep.

   A copy of the note telling the district your child is starting a home program. Or a copy of the signed withdrawal paper, if you met in person. This applies only if your child was in that district's school.

   Where.

2. 2. Curriculum list and work samples

   Keep.

   A list of what you taught each year, with work samples. Wyoming law no longer asks you to turn these in. It does make you responsible for teaching the subjects. This list shows you did. Playing sports through a host school? That school can ask for proof of work.
