A log of the days and hours you teach each child. The state suggests it. The law does not require it. No time to keep it is stated.

A folder for each child. Put in samples of activities, assignments, projects and assessments. Add a list of books and materials used. Add results of any national tests. The state suggests it. The law does not require it.

3. Notice of intent (if you send one)

A dated copy of the notice you give your district, if you give one. Today the state asks parents to tell their district. Ask your district how it likes to get it. Starting with the school year that begins July 1, 2028, parents must fill out an intent to educate form each year by October 1. Keep a copy of what you send.
