   Keep.

   Keep a copy of each year's Notice of Intent. Keep proof of the date you filed it. If you filed online, your account keeps it too.

   Where.

2. 2. Transcript and portfolio

   Keep.

   The law does not ask you to send these while you homeschool. A public school asks for both if your child enrolls there later. The transcript lists each course and its semester grades. The portfolio shows the books and programs used, the tests taken and the lessons done.
